Melissa M. Dwyer, CNP
Melissa M. Dwyer is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with board certification in adult acute care. She has worked in the field of orthopaedics for many years with her last position focusing on pain management and regional nerve blocks.
Education includes a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. She is also board certified as a pain management nurse.
She is a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses and the National Organization of Orthopaedic Nurses.
Gina M. Hissong, CNP
Gina M. Hissong is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with a certification in adult health. She has worked in the field of orthopaedics for many years.
Education includes a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to that, she graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
She is a current member of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses, the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
She participated in a research project involving screening of patients pre-operatively for staph infections in conjunction with The Christ Hospital. The findings were presented at the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses annual congress. She was the former Coordinator for the DuPuy Implant Study.
Kristie Yakura, CNP
Kristie earned her BA in philosophy from the University of Cincinnati, her nursing degree from Good Samaritan Hospital and her nursing/family nurse practitioner degree from the University of Cincinnati.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurse Credentialing Center, American Nurses Association, Ohio Nurses Association and the Kentucky Coalition for Nurse Practitioners and Midwives.
In her free time, Kristie is very active in her community, volunteering as a Healing Touch provider at Bethesda North Hospital and assisting homeless families as part of the Interfaith Hospitality Network. She also donates her time to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Arts Association and The Freestore Foodbank.
